Welcome to Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroidery. By using our website, placing an order, requesting a quote, or purchasing our products or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General Use

By accessing this website or purchasing from us, you agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time, including for inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content.

2. Custom Orders

Many of our products are custom-made to your specifications. By placing a custom order, you confirm that all information you provide, including sizes, quantities, colors, artwork, spelling, names, numbers, and other order details, is accurate.

Once a custom order has been approved and production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

3. Proofs and Approvals

If a digital proof or mockup is provided, it is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review and approve all details before production begins. Approval confirms that all design elements are correct.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Spelling

  • Grammar

  • Names and numbers

  • Sizing

  • Colors

  • Placement

  • Artwork details

Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroidery is not responsible for errors that were approved by the customer.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms may vary depending on the order. Full payment or a deposit may be required before production begins.

For custom orders, no work will begin until payment arrangements have been confirmed. Any remaining balance must be paid before pickup, delivery, or shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to cancel orders for nonpayment.

5. Pricing and Quotes

All quotes are subject to change until the order is confirmed. Pricing may vary based on garment selection, quantity, artwork complexity, setup requirements, rush service, shipping, and material availability.

Errors in pricing, descriptions, or product information may be corrected at any time without prior notice.

6. Production and Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing.

Production times may be affected by:

  • Approval delays

  • Material availability

  • Equipment issues

  • Shipping carrier delays

  • Large order volume

  • Holidays or weather conditions

We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.

7. Shipping and Delivery

If shipping is offered, customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of the carrier.

Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroidery is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, delayed, or mishandled by the shipping carrier, though we will do our best to assist with shipment issues.

8. Returns and Refunds

Because many products are custom-made, custom orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.

If there is an issue due to our error, such as a defective or incorrect item, customers must contact us within 3 business days of receiving the order and provide photos and order details.

Any approved refund, replacement, or correction will be handled at our discretion in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Customer-Supplied Artwork

By submitting artwork, logos, designs, or other content to us, you confirm that you have the legal right to use, reproduce, and authorize printing of that content.

You agree that Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroidery is not responsible for copyright, trademark, licensing, or permission issues related to customer-provided materials. The customer assumes full responsibility for any claims resulting from unauthorized use of artwork or intellectual property.

10. Color and Print Variation

We make every effort to produce high-quality and accurate results. However, slight variations in garment shade, ink color, thread color, design size, placement, and print appearance may occur and are considered normal in the custom printing process.

Colors displayed on screens may also vary from the final printed product.

11. Order Pickup and Storage

Customers are responsible for picking up completed orders within a reasonable timeframe after notification. Orders left unclaimed for an extended period may be subject to limited storage or disposal at our discretion.

12. Website Content

All content on this website, including text, graphics, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroideryunless otherwise stated and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kortlan Screen Printing & Embroidery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

Our total liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that order.

14. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse any order or service request that includes unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content, or that violates intellectual property rights.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon posting.
